I'm one of the tcphp "old-timers" and am responsible for many of the long-winded posts on the mailing list. I try to stay active in the group and the Twin Cities technical community at large. I believe there is a huge amount of untapped talent around here that can come together and help build something unique. To that end, everything I do professionally is based on trying to facilitate good developers with a stable infrastructure and free education.
I've been using PHP since 1999, when I set out to build an online resource for animation and short film production. The sad reality is that the resource never came to fruition, but I have learned a TON along the way. I hope that by sharing what I've learned with people, I can save others from my "fate".
I also had a two-year stint as a senior web developer at an online brokerage, working mainly with Java and ColdFusion. I have to admit that this experience is what turned me into the great big open source advocate that I am today!

I founded pajunas interactive as a means to continue working with and helping local developers while earning a living. We work with local vendors and local developers because I firmly believe in the benefits of supporting the Twin Cities technical community. The pajunas network is fully redundant, fully scalable and hosted out of a state-of-the-art datacenter in Downtown Minneapolis. We have architected a stable network based on current best practices, and are the only host in the industry that provides many-to-many user-to-site access with single sign-on.
Long-term objectives include establishing an international, load-balanced network using entirely free software, and offering this massive scalability at rates that any user or organization can afford. This business model perpetuates free speech by lowering barriers without reliance on donations or supporters.
But at the present time, pajunas does need supporters. This is largely a volunteer effort, and we need support and feedback! Most importantly, please consider using and recommending pajunas for even your basic hosting needs. If you believe in our business model, have ever found value in one of the groups we sponsor, or just want to support a local company; you're just the kind of person we want to work with!

- Additional Information
I don't have a lot of time for contract work, but can bring a high level of expertise into the right project. I've got a flair for the pragmatic and an extremely good grasp on scalable architectures. I would like to lend my expertise on the early stages of large scale projects, consulting on the feasibility of proposed solutions and recommending open-source and proprietary solutions to interesting problems.
